overview

After the success of our previous project in St. Clair, MI, the team at CORE provided full design services for the electric vehicle related business initiative for Magna in Tennessee.

The facility in Stanton is 850,000 SF. Contained within is a 2-story office space for salaried employees, executives, and production staff. A 150,000 SF e-coat bay contains a high volume e-coat paint line. In an industry first, this facility is located 150’ away from the main assembly plant for Ford which is producing the newest generation of the Lightning pickup truck.

The e-coat bay is taking shape. A very tall section of the building is required for the e-coat system which will paint frames and battery trays for the Ford electric pickup truck.

Due to the several local complexities, concrete pits and structural slabs are required to support the e-coat system.
